Well went out this morning. Almost sank my arse away in some mud that looked dry (it wasnt). Got out of that while scraping my right leg all the way down on all the rocks. All for a darn scraper. I went to the other side and walked where I knew it was dry. I saw a black thing and tapped it and a ting came out so I knew it was stone. Bent down and said I hope its whole. I washed it off and said DAMN. My best for the yr to date! I found a total of 3 items this morning. Check it out. 100_2019.JPG100_2020.JPG100_2022.JPG Let me know what type it is! Looks kinda like a Pickwick, Abbey, or a MM to me. It has a snapped base. Funny cause I didnt know they had such a thing.

Thanks but it is complete. The side has a notch on it. I guess its a side notch? Or it was used for a scraper at times. Might be a knife that is why I ask. I have yet to find a point on that side. I forgot to tell the state. It was found in Ga.

Looks Morrow Mountain if its complete and not broken. Like that scraper too

Looks well worth a few scrapes to me bro. Nice job! That's funny arse. What are the pics in the back, Mayan?

I would agree with BPGriswld on the Morrow men. Very nice finds. How do you compare that black material to the quartz?

Its a artifact book that shows the white game ball I posted in another thread.

Ahh yes I have enjoyed watching that ball get identified!! They keep me square on my civil war finds. : ) Nice finds Rock!!

Thanks everyone. I have been looking all afternoon in books as to ID that. I believe it is a knife and not a point. Another knife! Check out Ledbetter, middle to late Archaic Period 6000-35000 BP. Its said to be a snapped base Pickwick and used as a knife. I do find some MM but they are in the mountains. I found this in the foot hills. Unless there is another guess let me know I am up for it.
