This week was another good one. I arrived 1/2 early to the first sale that was starting at 7 am on Sat. There were a couple others already there. It was listed as a "Deluxe Garage Sale" mentioning Tiffany, Baccarat, Hermes and more. They weren't lying. I managed 2 pieces of Baccarat, a Gridel Pelican limited edition of 240 pieces and a sleeping cat that I can't find the correct name for yet. Also got a really nice signed Sterling, Turquoise cuff bracelet (the big one below behind the other) and the MS Office Small Business software upgrade. She wanted $40 a piece for each of the first 3 items. I got her to throw in the software for free, lol. So $120 spent on these items-

Other finds include the sterling ring and bracelet shown above (wife claimed that one), $10 for the pair, a Royal Doulton Bunnykins cookie jar, HTF can't find any recent completed listings so I don't know what it's worth but it was only $3, almost walked right past it.

I bought a few sets vintage of salt and pepper shakers, something I have a hard time passing by when they are only .50- $1.00 a pair. A Fenton caramel slag shoe, $1 and a Toledo Sword letter opener for .50, don't laugh they sell for $15-$20. Problem is I may never get around to listing it and the other Toledo stuff I already have.

I also got a set of 8 NIB Culver American Eagle Bicentennial glasses for $10. They are in new condition with the box so I figured what the heck. Haven't found another set yet to price them.

Not pictured are a couple various Boy Scout pins and F.O.E. pins, a wooden stash box with a real rattlesnake head mounted on the top, a framed vintage brass Torah (Judaica), another Atari Flashback2 and a Franziskaner Weissbier (beer) cloth banner.

Great items once again Diggumup! That Pelican paperweight is a wonderful thing by itself. The tourqoise bracelet is gonna bring a chunk and of course the Baccarat... stunning!

Nice finds, Dig!

Culver is still in business. They are the company that prints all of the modern Fiesta glasses and glassware.

I didn't realize that. I have made good money in the past with vintage Culver glassware. I have a set of the Harlequin Mardi Gras glasses too, but they aren't in primo shape. They will still sell though.

Nice stuff, dig! I particularly like the salt & pepper set of the seals with the ball on their noses - very charming. Are those metal or ceramic?
They are solid brass with hollow balls that unscrew to fill with salt/pepper. They (aren't but they do) resemble some of the black painted brass figures that Walter Bosse did in the 50's.

I sold a very similar Baccarat cat about a year ago for around $8?.00 can't remember exactly but it did not have the box like yours. You will do very good on that if you sell it. Also, like the paper weight for sure and the jewelry to. I don't know what I would do if I found all those items AT THE SAME SALE! Wow....Thanks for sharing!

Thanks. I got the Baccarat, Turquoise Cabachon bracelet and the software at the first sale of the day. The other items came from other yard sales.
