Farm Field permission, owner said house was bulldozed back in the 70s but had been vacant as long as he could remember (He's 91 and lived here all his life) Crappy weather wise in michigan around 40F all day and rain/sleet. Started at 9am and ended around 4:30pm. Found my first ever Half Dime and 2 Cent piece! Also, if anyone has info on this token i found i am curious as to what it is. The writing on it says "Non Silba Sed Anthor" at first i thought it was a large cent!

List of what i found:
1851 O Half Dime
1877 Seated Dime
1916 Barber Dime

1884 V Nickel
1907 V Nickel

1866 2 Cent Piece

1865 Indian
1866 Indian
1879 Indian
1886 Indian
1901 Indian

as well as a 1919, 1925 and 1920 Wheat Pennies

Keep at it. That area was inhabited for awhile. There has to be more silver.

That would be the best hunt ever for many- great finds- Big time :icon_thumleft: Congrats!!

Did the same thing a while back. Not quite a TriFecta, but it works! I call it a Two-And-A-Half-Fecta

Wow, my fields only have smashed cans :dontknow:

All super finds! Beautiful silver, too! Thanks for sharing.

I would love to have a hunt like that! I do fields all the time and only seem to be able to find buttons, large cents, and Indian Head cents. Very little silver.
You mentioned that the half dime is 1851-o, but you didn't mention that the Barber dime is 1916-s and the Seated Liberty dime is 1877-cc. There's a trifecta in mintmarks.

Awesome finds!! Congrats!!
Can't say I've ever seen a half dime.
Looks like a "mini-me" of the seated dime.

If the 1866 Indian is in good shape, that's the most valuable coin of the bunch.
