These are my best garage and shed finds. The Patton sword I found in my Grandmother's garage when I was a teenager and the sword bayonet in my friend's grandfather's shed/workshop. He didnt know or care what it was, so he gave it to me. Both have two dates on them. The sword says 1912 on one side and 1918 on the other, so I assume it was made in 1918. The bayonet says 1917 on one side and "22" on the other. I think I read a long time ago that the "22" is for "1922". Is that correct?
