Oh my GAWD those coins are clean! :o

How do you clean them? ???

Especially that buffalo nickle... wow!

I need to know you're secrets... 8)
They certainly are clean. I've never seen a dug nickel get that clean. I need to know the cleaning secret too. Steel cents usually come out of the ground as rusty slugs. Yours looks great. You must have some kind soil in Syracuse. Congrats on some good finds.

WOW a non-rusty dug steel cent. I've never seen that before. Please tell us your cleaning secrets for nickels. I've also never saw a dug buffalo clean up like that. Nice finds. :-X :-X :-X

Me either, and I'm only 40 miles west from Syracuse. My wheaties never clean up like that, never dug a steely in my 6yrs detecting tho... my buffs just don't compare to yours either although I can never get a date off mine also.

last time I dug a steely I almost threw it away, thinking it was nothing but a slug from a breaker box, I have yet to see one like that, except at a swap meet.

Let me re fraze that last post to you didnt meen it to sound like that,,,,i ment to say i wish i could have found coins this nice
and would also like to know your cleaning meathod
Thanks

Perhaps it was not in the soil, but in a box on a pole in the woods.

:-X :-X :-X

;D

No kidding, but I'm sure there's a ladder or a saw to be foubd to get the old box down from there. :D ;D

I found a non rusty steel cent once in a kiddie lot at the bottom of the slide, looked like it was just dropped. Nice. Haven't found a Buffalo that looks that good. Still searching for a silver dollar. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;) ;)
