Did all those beauty's come out of the same hole/pocket spill? Or were they all over the park? What were all the dates on all the silver and wheats? That's a exciting day there, congrats!

They all came out of an outfield at a local park. Not the same hole but scattered throughout. The dates on the wheaties are hard to read, but the dates on the merc's are 1920,1936,1940,and 1942. The rosies are 1946, 1952,1952, and 1961, and the Washington is 1953. Anyone know the best way to clean up wheaties? I have heard olive oil, but I'm not sure.

all my park gives are 100s of bottle caps to 1 wheat i had to tske a hike up a monster hill to get an indian today im going back there from.now on

Use mineral oil for the wheaties health, as olive oil is acidic. Big congrats on all the silver, sounds like a virgin ballfield with all those coins left, when you go back you will find more!

Wow, nobody but you must be detecting that baby! Wow! -HH and thanks for sharing- Chuck

Thank you everyone! I am still in shock. It does seem that nobody has hit this park before. Or if they did they missed a lot. If it wasn't raining here today I would be back there, but it will have to wait. Thanks for the tip on how to clean wheaties, I'll give it a try!

Nice haul and I'll bet your not any where near Rochester,Mn. Not much silver around here and it's been awhile since I had a day like you had. Good going.
