That's what I found yesterday afternoon. No junk, no pulltabs, just two pennies. At least I was finally able to stay on a target without getting knocked off by the waves.

Sounds like everything is sinking and getting covered up by layers of sand. Only the lighter stuff is shallow enough to be detected. Hopefully you can find some cuts or more exposed areas.
