I went out this morning around 9am and didn't stop hunting with my new whites vx3. I didn't stop until 730 pm. I wanted to try to learn my new detector as much as I could in the time I had today. I really think that the whites vx3 is a great detector. I really need to do a lot of research before I go out again. I got lucky and found my first silver Rosie. And a lot of clad. It was my first silver I had ever found and I was really excited. I can't wait to go again soon.

I started detecting last March. You'll be amazed how fast you learn and how much you will find. It took me a few months to find a silver dime, so nicely done! It's all about finding quality spots. A little history research goes a LONG way. Good luck!

Great job! I tell friends at work that the world changes (with metal detecting) and how you look at what is around you, i.e. old houses, parks, rock walls. Eyes wide open to what could be under ground:)

Nice going on your first silver!
