I have alot of kids but my 13 yr old has the most interest so I've let him take out the Lonestar and hunt around the home and local parks (supervised). On his first outting he pulled 2 silver rings, The bigger one is stamped "sterling". Now we have a "ring master" in the family!
I wish I had taped his expression, it was shock and excitement all rolled into one. He must have leaped 3 foot in the air. I'm so proud and what a way for a newbie to start!
That's AWSOME! I love hunting with my son (14). I think I get more out of watching him than I do with what I find. Congrats to both of you. HH and I'll bet he's hooked.
Nice rings , he's gifted and I greatly admire you with such a large family . I have a hard enough time with the wife & one child. Yall keep up the good work...Davers
Having a large family is fun and yes does come with it's share of "drama" but we make it work. We are a blended family (Hers, Mine and Ours). I have a great wife and great kids. Not exactly the Duggers, more like the Adams family but hey were learning every day. Thanks to all the people here and the advice that they share. It makes it nice to have an online place where you can sit with your family and have a good time together.
