My 12" Trommel Modification

After shoveling into the trommel for a day I put a rock that was to big and broke my spray bar.I didn't like that idea any way because it really takes away from the 12" thing. Basically you end up with a 3"to 4" trommel and you have to stand there and pick through the rocks. My thought is if it will stay on my shovel it should go through. So here is what I did, I built a duel spray bar that sprays from the outside in. One pipe couple and two snaps and the whole thing lifts right off. Hope to test it after Labor Day. "OH" I also built a water manifold to distribute the water.

Re: My 12" Trommel Modification

Well I don't know about awesome but it's a lot better than it was, it should be way more efficient any way. It added some weight but it's so easy to take off I can pack it separately. I should spend more time digging and less sorting rocks.
