My 1 hour hunt today

I found a old token that has the name of the small town I'm living at, also a b&l brand button. I can't figure out the round thing or the flat plate. Both of those seem to be copper, any ideas would be appreciated. I found all these rite by a civil war site which had a plantation near by.

Yea it's strange looking. Kind of looks like the fancy end of a curtain rod haha. Good luck finding out what it is.

Nice token find! It is not listed in Crawford & Farber's LA Tokens book, nor is it on TokenCatalog.com. I'd encourage you to post pics on the latter.

I tried looking up the token but I couldn't find anything, but the name on the token is joe Beauregard which was the son of General Beauregard who was famous during the civil war
