those are great pics. nice and sharp, no shadows, bright white silver. What is your secret? I always get too much glare or shadows, especially when I shoot BU cents.

cyberdan, he is useing a flatbed scanner. They use an even light and are great for fine detail. They have a white background, mostly used for scanning photos and documents. I think you can pick them up for less than $50 now days.
