First ot all the MXT Pro has 12" Whites 300 coil
These are measured in WET SAND and are not air tests.
Sensitivity was set at "7" because you could not tun this machine stable at a higher number
Threshold is at the lowest steady hum
Discrimination was VERY low - about 10% or no metal

Morgan Dollar. 10.50"
US Quarter 8.25"
US Dime 7.75"
US Nickel. 8.50" (interesting)
US Penny 7"

Please keep I mind that these are in wet sand and clad (unless noted) at 70% sensitivity, but also under very st le operation

It doesn't hurt to run the MXT at its ragged edge for more depth, I try and run at +2 gain when there's not to much EMI but keep in mind this is on dry land and not a salt beach. The threshold isn't always stable just don't run it to high so you won't get to much noise to hear those really deep whisper targets. HH

Oh, understood! "7" Is a stable / zero falsing number
You're 100% right.
