After recently selling my VX3 (and a V3i before that) I bought this original model MXT to see if I would finally find a current model White's that I like. It turns out that I LOVE the MXT and it's sweet analog-type audio and lightning fast recovery speed. My finds have increased dramatically and I just "click" with the MXT. It reminds me of my XLT and XL Pro that I could tell what was in the ground from the excellent audio. So today I bought a new MXT All-Pro (mainly to get the ground grab feature since I like to hunt in loc-trac and update manually) from my local dealer and am now selling this great condition original model MXT.
I bought it locally from the original owner who used it once to find the property stakes at his vacation home then put it away in his closet where it sat until I bought it. This is practically a new detector that has been a closet queen for years. It is a 2005 manufacture, but has had very little use. It was used once by the original owner and was like new when I got it. Since then I've had it out maybe 10 times for 2-3 hours at a time. It works great. Looks great too, with no scratches on the coil or anywhere else that I can find. It comes with the original box and manual, never used spare lower rod and hardware, never used White's headphones, and a coil cover (not shown). The coil is the original 950 Eclipse which is actually a great coil on the MXT, balances well and goes deep.
