Sorry bud, there are no settings for the MTX when hunting the wet sand. Dry sand, whatever settings you normally use will suffice. Good luck

With the MXT being a single frequency detector you will be frustrated when getting in the wet sand. You will get falsing and chatter and it just becomes irritating. I tried years ago with my XLT and it only took a few minutes before I decided to move back to the dry sand.

what does the MXT PRO do in salt mode?

so leave it in coin mode all the time? even on the beach?

I believe all the "beach" mode does is lower the sensitivity to where falsing is no longer an issue. Your depth will decrease to a couple inches depending on the beach itself. Better off using you're favorite dirt settings and sticking to the dry sand.

yeah but I hear the gold is in the water or close to it ( I need gold)

If you're on MY beach....... Set it to OFF :laughing7:
