Went to a local park mostly looking for jewelry. I started hitting a lot of iron and trash and decided there had to have been house in this spot at one time. Then I got a sweet high tone that just wouldn't vary no matter which angle I swept it from. About 8-9" later and under a piece of brick out pops a 1940 Merc! Nice find! Hey Fletch, how you liken that MX-5? I just got an AT Pro, but have a chance to pick up a used (like new) MX-5 for about half retail. Happy huntin :icon_thumleft:

I would buy it tomorrow!

Very nice Fletch, you're putting the MX5 to good use !

Seriously Oldsurfer, unless you are wading in over knee deep water I would prefer the MX-5 hands down to the ATPro. The weight and balance alone would be enough, plus 1 or 2 tone ability in heavy iron, a very pleasing to the ear 8 tone audio, backlight, true all metal, locking pinpoint, standby mode(found this to be very useful).

Thanks for all the replies everyone! Happy Hunting and Happy Easter
