Mustang and 1966 Falcon Sprint Car Parts

Ok, i didn't get this posted same day, but Friday when Brion, Dan and I (Carolyn) went digging together we came up with a couple old car parts....a Mustang Emblem, probably from a steering wheel center, and a piece of a 1966 Falcon Sprint. That trip also produced some antique coffin handles and marble (not pictured)!

Cool finds buddy!!! I own a 1964 1/2 Mustang, and Ill let you in on some trivia. When Mustang was introduced in April of 1964,they actually used left-over Falcon steering wheels,and placed a Mustang emblem over the Falcon Sprint emblem.Now mind you this was only done the first year. When I restored my Mustang, I found the same emblem on the steering wheel, once I removed the Mustang emblem.
Still, a very cool find. Do what I did, hang it on the garage wall as a coveration piece.

I once dug a Ford calienta chrome emblem and sold it on Ebay for 20 bucks
