Found these in a hole on the beach...

Oh, and they are lead - found five of them along with sinkers and coins. These aren't split-shots

they seem a bit random in size and shape for musket balls...the ammo gang will be along and know for sure....perhaps slingshot ammo...just a guess

I found five of them - they're all the same size, I'd say. Just some have a bit more beach crud on them than others.

Older muskets usually will turn white or dark brown or sometimes a blackish color. Those seem to be a light bluish so I would Guess early 1900's. but just a guess.

True, but in wet environments that patina doesn't grow. Lead pulled out of water will still look pertty much like the day it was dropped.

I'm thinking they're modern now . they hunt along this area for deer , and you can't really unload a musket so maybe they just fire out into the water
