I found these the last week of 2007. The area is known to be a WWI U.S. Army camp. I am finally beginning to find keepers. before that, the area was owned by a family from the mid 1800's. I have found some shotgun head stamps from the late 1800's and early 1900's.

Im curious if these rounds are from a musket? I was using an Ace 250 and they ring up as .10c, which I know from finding .45 caliber bullets that these rounds are possibly lead. They do not stick to a magnet and I measured them both with a caliper. The circumference was not completely round. One measured anywhere from .495-.510 and weighed 9.1 grams the other measured anywhere from .520 -.535 and weighed 10.5 grams.

Any help is appreciated, Thanks... to all and HH.

Too small to be musket balls. Probably muzzleloading rifle balls.

A little large but perhaps "pumpkin balls" for trench shotguns? Monty
