Howdy All, I went back to my colonial inn site an got 3 more musket ball, lead splatter and little lead piece that looks like the sprue from a musket ball. Later, I went to another site that had a 1800s house that is long gone. I have hunted archaic period Indian Relics on this site for years. The Dick and Willy { Danville & Western}railroad ran along the edge of the field. I got another musket ball, then the spike and later while digging out a piece of junk iron, I pulled the spearpoint out of the hole. I also got a couple of more modern bullets and part of a brass shell. Spearpoint is 2 3/4 inches long. One bullet has 3 reeded grooves and a flat nose. It measures .265 wide and .364 long. The brass shell is a rimfire that was struck 3 times and measures .323. The other has one reeded groove and measures .354 wide and .478 long. First pic is from colonial site. Second pic is sprue? Third is second field.
