If lead, very possible. A dime is a hair over 0.705" diameter and that is ball-parky to what a Land Pattern musket ("Brown Bess") uses.

The smaller ball (also, if lead) could be from a buck-and-ball load of one musket ball and three smaller buck-shot. Common load for sentrys.

1812 was a War. A real one & not a civil one. ;-)

That's the war of 1812,it wasn't a civil war lol.Who ever wrote that it was a civil war is a dumbazz.

When I done research of the war that happen around here, civil war of 1812 always pops up. A fight between the Americans, British, and Indians. You can Google it if you'd like
