Thanks to my amazing wife I was able to participate in my first paid dig. In March of 2011 at Jacksons five day summer camp waiting for A.P. Hill in the second battle of Manassas. On the first day I found the first pin, and a few percussion caps. On the second day I found nothing. On the third day we woke up to snow covered ground and I was debating not going back. However my wife convinced me that I had nothing to loose and would regret not going so I went. I went back to the same spot as the first day and much to my amazement I found the matching second pin along with a Richmond lab less than a few feet away. A perfect end to a perfect hunt. The only problem is I am having the hardest time identifying these pins. I know they are musician’s pins. Other than that I have hit a brick wall. If anyone could help me it would be much appreciated. P.I. Digger. :help:

Yes, both pins are led filled and both have exactly the same mark in the same location! The marking is a P within a circle.
