Yo are correct. Probebly from an accordian.

Just seems funny that these were found at different place. You wouldn't think folks would just toss an accordian out. Or were the reeds and boards replacable, like when re-tuning?

Replaced or just scattered after throwing the thing away.

Remember - the musical instruments of the time were like our gameboys of today... everybody had one, everyone played something, it's what brought people together.

Every kid had a slingshot and harmonica I rekon...
