here's a couple grey's no yellows yet central illinois dipped in egg breaded with ritz cracker fried in butter!!! found 25 cut in half 50 mmmmmmmmmm

So.....I went out detecting today, and before I got a signal.....Bammm! Morel. I thought to myself, hmmm silver or shroom, silver or shroom. I figured the shrooms will only be around for a little while, and the silver will be there forever (unless you guys find it before me). I found a total of 246! 210 being half trees, and 36 of them grey. Morel season is in full swing! HH

I have a whole bunch of different recipes for these bad boys. I'm actually dilling the greys, and drying the "peckerheads". These are the first for the season for me. A whole bunch of little guys. I can't wait till a few more days to get the bigger grey ones so you can stuff 'em. I like 'em sauted in butter and thrown in my scrambled eggs in the morning too. My MD'ing is going on a temporary halt until the season is over. HH, I hope you find a whole bunch too!

I'm sure your intent was different, but it's funny that I MD and mushroom hunt. I read your guys' posts earlier with the people backing in the spaces and all, so that's why I thought this was not only appropriate, but Freacking hilarious!

I actually just got back from Cali, and I messaged Treasurefiend and bomber earlier that I can't wait to go MD'ing with everyone when I get back. But these little suckers are worth more than gold to me.

ok,so i take the shrooms i found yesterday(3) home and do the egg,ritz cracker and fry 'em up in butter...UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.NOW I GET IT,the suckers were fantasic,i'm hooked.maybe we should do the grove and keep an eye out for these suckers and fry'em up.
