Here's a little map from the 1860s of some of the places where there would be camps. they're everywhere.

Very Cool.....I lived and worked In Hope for 8 months in 2012....Found quite a bit of goodies there...

Thanks for the pics. Always interesting to see some musuem defined tools (pic #1) that would be called just "rocks" here.

Despite the slightly blurry pic, I see much better things than just rocks there. Some broken, but what I noticed 1st is the damn chipboard they use to display them! Do they have anyone there that gives a f%@$?

I live in Surrey now for the past 6 years but before that I lived in Manitoba for 50+ years and I have about 25 points found when I lived there. Us guy's should get together some time and check out each other's artifacts.

have you hunted the islands?...my father in law's family are old timers on Shaw in the US San Juans. He tells me finding points on the beaches were so common as a kid that it was unremarkable.

No. Not yet unclemac. But I'm currently working on a project that might retire me soon I hope. Then I will be all over the place in North America if it works. Just launched a global social network. We are in 5 countries so far. But really not even close to being a success yet. Fingers crossed. I know an island off the Canadain cost that no one goes to, and I hear it's loaded with artifacts.

Hey knighthunter, you or any body, just let me know and we can get together. I'll take you to a site if we have time.
