took a few hunts to equal enough to post
includes three wheats, zero silver or key dates

Nice finds of course. But, I must disagree. Some may say I'm just wasting their time, posting some of the garbage I post. You know, those "Fun", "Interesting" days? ;) But, I simply see each individual find as treasure. Even if "ONLY" a wheat cent. Too many get frustrated seeing all these wonderful finds on here. They start belittling their own finds to justify posting such "garbage".

To everyone: Have fun first! Then, share what you feel like sharing. But, don't feel that your finds are unimportant. ALL of them, together tell the tale. Just have to see 'em that way.

Thanks for sharing!

I could not have said it better.

WHADAFIND hit the nail squarely on the head! If you are in this hobby with the sole purpose of finding treasures you are going to have a lot of disappointing days. I've only been detecting now for about 4 months. I went in with the mindset that everything I find is something that was lost. And I was the one who rediscovered it. When I do find something like a silver coin I get very excited. Although in 4 months I've found only 5 of them! LOL

Nice finds! Thanks for sharing with us all whether it be so called "decent" finds or not.

Exactly how I feel as well. Metal Detecting is about not just finding things but the adrenaline and enjoyment of the hunt itself so no matter what you exactly find it's always a treasure in my mind.
