Hello I'm looking for several different detectors.
really want a fisher 1265x 66xb with the hard case or a 1270x, if you have a 1270 I'm looking for a early Los banos unit. if you have a 1265 I'd prefer a properly working unit, but will consider a non-working unit provided that entire battery compartment is intact, it has to be not broken at all.
The reason for this is my 1265x is very important to me as my father purchased it for me back in 79' I think..and the only way the folks at first Texas will fix/tune it is if the battery compartment is intact.
Another detector I'd be interested in would be a Fisher CZ-3D with a 1021 serial that has been tuned/recalibrated by NASA Tom Dankowski..( I know, Good Luck ).
If you have any of these please let me know.
or if you happen to be able to repair or rebuild either the battery compartment or the whole unit on my 1265 for it has went wonky on me.
I'm only looking for analog detectors!
