Muddy Field Hunting

Even after the big blizzard last weekend I was able to find some open fields ripe for detecting. The ground was soft and muddy until about 3 inches and then it was rock hard. Of course most of the targets were in the 4-5 inch level...so I had to work for these finds! I think the find of the day is the sterling silver spoon piece. LC is 1917...the large button is actually a bridle rosette.
