No, it's not the ANDREA DORIA...LOL.

Check out the teaser from a recent trip to the BRITANNIC, sister ship of the TITANIC, which rests in 390 feet of water off Kea, Greece after being sunk by a German mine in 1916. The other amazing wreck is the BURDIGALA, another liner sunk by a mine one week before BRITANNIC. Enjoy!

Cheers,
Mike

Yes Mike, I can only dream of diving on that wreck. Did you bring any artifacts up?

390? Thats a good way to die.

Not if you have mixed gas rebreather like Mike has. You can stay down for 4 hours!

Rebreathers are dangerous as hell. The gas-mix algorithm is so complicated, some of it is still guesswork. A lot more divers will die before it is perfected.

Actually about 6 hours. We were doing about 35-45 minutes on the wreck and about 4.0-5.5 hours total run time.
No artifacts...this wreck has a lot of red tape around it and we had a Greek government observer onboard watching over us.

Wow man !! Pretty incredible. Wayyyyy out of my skill level , ill live the dream through your video. Wasnt that ship converted into a wartime hospital ship. ??
I thik the germans thought they were smuggling ammo on it. Just working from my memory here. I could be wrong.

Or, you have a ride like this -:icon_thumright:

One of the most experienced divers I have ever met and a very good friend (certainly in the top 2 or 3 cave divers in the world ) told me once and I quote;

"Your rebreather is always trying to kill you, you have to stay one step ahead of it"

Nice vid, Mike. And kudos to all who stay one step ahead of their rebreathers, Kev!
