Welcome to T-Net Jim.

Good first post.
A couple questions if I may...
how big is this?
do you have some way of showing the proportions in a picture?

Not trying to discourage you but sometime Ma Nature can throw a heck of a curve ball.
Have you pressed on in the direction it seems to be looking?
If so and nothing in the way of signs has shown up in that direction (within 100 yards)
I would give it up as a natural.

Usually with smaller carved figures the next sign is relatively close and will show up within 30 or 40 yards.
Many times even closer.

The camel( or What looks like One) led me to a turtle and walking the line of its gaze led directly to the frog.I know Ma Nature is out to fool me and am skeptical of all I think I see.Such as the broken heart high in the rocks.Might not be a heart. But if it is,So what? This is my first sight and an excellent opportunity to learn. Also there are already three mysteries.I've only started working this site and need to clear up some things and follow the sighns further. In my ignorance I've been unable to contribute to this forum But hope with time and a few more miles on my shoes I can at least provide some good pictures and a bit of a story. So,Yep ! The frog is real.Hope to get back this weekend to start some measurements. half the fun is gettin there. Jim

I live in Montana, not far from the rocky mountains... man, when I look at rocks I see all kinds of stuff! I think it's the artist in me - like looking at clouds - I always see something there. Nobody else sees it till I point it out or frame it correctly, they they see it too!

I'm just saying... everything looks like something.

It's easy when you can see there was carving or manipulation of the rock.

Are there any other opinions on the froggy rock?

Can you post a picture of these other signs

Isaac Asimov said "90% of everything is crap". I've come to believe he was optimistic. Scepticism is healthy and warranted.I learned long ago that the mind works overtime trying to make sense of things by creating familiar sounds and sights from white noise. Have only spent about eight hours at this site and used most of that learning that I was wrong. Will try to post some more pictures soon but most of them havent been checked out on the ground and should be considered illusion. Also ,to sort and crop takes me forever. Sorry. Please be patient. Most of all-Have Fun!

Jim!!
Even if Asimov was at 99%, there is still that 1%. Like Jim Carey said in Dumb and Dumber, " a million to one, that means I have a chance!" Keep Punching Amigo, and Yes Have Fun! Best, TD

A grain of salt is needed here. Some of these have been extreamly magnified and are probably just pixels. Only two have been confirmed on the ground. The turtle that led to frog. Then, theres the treasure cave. L.O.L. Jim

Missed one. A broken heart? A lion? You decide. I'll wait for better pics.

Jim,

The third and fourth pictures are curious to me I was wondering what is in these two that you think might be Spanish.?? The fourth one is but I am curious just what you see.
Sometimes a camera lens can show you more than a naked eye.

I'll go into photo shop with #4 and scribble a little of what is there.
You either have a patron saint or a padre, in #4

Your heart is just that , with a cracked lobe.
the chunk on the left tells you that the cache or mine you are trailing is trapped or protected.

Old Dog. on the upper left side of the rock is the silhouette or bust of a man.You may need to darken it to see it better,But this was enlarged on the computer to the point that its probably just pixels. Will try to get closeups this weekend and put a few other questions to rest.Someone must have liked turtles cause theres a whole covey of em here.

I see a negative Padre or Patron Saint, shadow sign Old Dog? Thats three Padres, six more and you have a baseball team!!! You da Man OD TD PS Almost furgot, the negative Padre is heading in the opposite direction!!

tertiaryjim!
I sure would like to see a bigger picture of the Padres, or more area around them. Is this possible? Thanks TD Also the bottom pic with the square opening tunnel, boo coo sun signs. Bigger pic? If not, thats cool! Thanks again. Unbelievable Stuff!! WOW!

Old Dog,Thanks for looking and for for your expert opinion.Got a close view of the guarded heart and as you said its just rubble so Ill not waste space by posting it again. The bust is real and was easy to see with the naked eye 30 yds away at 0930. this picture was taken at 1130 but it is up close and clear. The frog is 29" wide and 5' long. Its about 50 yards from the turtle. The Gollum rock seems to be looking at a rock on the ledge below but Im getting over a cold and didnt feel it was a good idea to try to role it over.Would like to have explored more but I was feeling a bit shakee and had to leave. There is no indication that anything but nature carved Gollum so it may be a fluke. With good reason, the friend who introduced me to signs has asked that I not post anything further on the frog trail at this time.Hope to get things sorted out and continue this thread but dont know how long it will take. Thanks to All for your interest and comments. Jim
