If you just want to mount a light on your detector post just get a small led flashlight from Harbor Freight for about $2 or $3 and mount it to the shaft with one of those double clamps used in photography or hardware mounting. While you are there pick up a Cen Tech pinpointer for $18. You can mount a LED bulb in the case and hook it up to the sounding connectors so it will light when a target is found. The LED is polarity sensitive so if it doesn't light, just switch the leads. I have dun this and it works great. Frank...
