Motorcycle Light Shields?

Not sure what they are exactly. Only found 2 and 1 is slightly larger then the other. Let me know what you think ya'll! The biggest one is 15" x 7" and the other 12" x 6"

I found them near an old fishing hole in South Florida dated back to circa 1915.

Are they bigger than a bread box or smaller than a Volkswagon?

It is very hard to determine what these might be without something in the picture to reference the size.

It would also be nice to know if you found them at a farm house or a school yard or a beach or where ever...
