Hello to all you fellow treasure seekers. I am interested in knowing if anyone out there can direct me to where I may begin researching for lost mines and robbery caches in the Mother lode Country in Placer County. It stands to reason that with thousands of drunken miners, zero banks and no place to put mined gold, there should be hundreds of stories out there about lost treasure and lost loot. Most of what I read concerns places like Arizona or Nevada. Little has to do with California. One would think the place would be crawling with buried treasure. Any insight offered by you good people would be greatly appreciated. I need a place to start.
