O.K., I don't have any other name for this. I know it's good because my husband doesn't care for any kind of roast and last time I made it he said "it's not possible to make this taste any better." That was all. And his mother is probably the best cook I know.
Don't let the ingredients turn you away, you can't taste the honey!
1 pork roast with good marbling. 2-3 pounds
2 tbsp monterey grill steak seasoning (or your favorite kind)
1/4 cup honey
broth or water to cover
1 can cream of chicken soup
1/2 tbsp dry onion
Place roast in a hot pan with 2 tbsp oil and sear one side. While that side is searing I smash the grill seasoning onto the cold side. I flip it and sear the seasoned side. It does snap and get a little dark from the garlic/onions in the seasoning.
Place in a tiny roasting pan or in a crock pot. Pour honey over seasoned side. Add all other ingredients to 1/2 inch below top of roast. I cook this at 260 degrees for 4-6 hours in the stove because I don't have a crock pot. I turn it over about once an hour. When it is done I add about 2-3 tbsp cornstarch to cold water and stir that in to make a nice gravy that will feed an army. I don't follow this recipe, I usually toss in whatever I have but ALWAYS use the honey. I think this is the secret to a fall apart on your fork roast.
