This morning I met up with PadirtNCsand and Metalheadz for a group hunt. The first spot was pretty trashy and finds were sparse but I did manage a beat up Kennedy furniture token and a huge copper disc with brotherhood of police (Ohio) stamped on it along with a couple other words I cant seem to make out. Also dug the usual clad.
The next spot was a fairly overgrown old ball field. A few signals in I got a perfect dime response. It ended up being a silver 63 Rosey. More clad and a wheat and then we were done there. I decided to go to the county park for an hour or so to get under a few trees and out of the heat. Was lucky enough to get a 5" deep 1920 merc dime and a v nickel. Unfortunately I lost the nickel somewhere along the way! Had a good time meeting up with the guys and trying a couple new spots.
