I think they are both natural rocks, the pc left seems to have a little chisel/plane/scraper look to it however and the other pc looks like it was designed to be an implement of some abrading/sanding sort but I really just don't know for sure. :dontknow:
 

Thanks for the input. You know I've heard of sythe and sicyle sharpening stones turning up here and there on campsites. It could be a coincidence, the overlapping of modern and archaic habitation, as well. In the Bastrop dig we completely dug through a slave cabin and trash pile area while chasing 2 foot deep agate basins in the same acre of land. I wasn't there much and I know they found all kinds of stuff including CSA buttons, some coinage, toy pieces,etc.

the right in the second pic looks like it could be the back of a grooved axe, that broke on the groove, they maybe smmothed it for a toll.
