Need help with these items...these are the last pieces from my New Years day dig at an old cabin site here in Texas...First photo is of what I thing is an old bracket...looks as if it is an adjustable bracket, not sure though...could this be something else? The bottom is notched and the backside is flat...the other side has a rounded back as if counter sunk into something... it measures 2 1/4 X 2 1/4"..The next
two pics are of a curved piece of metal that may have been a kind of lock or latch closer? could it have been from a gun? I have found several gun parts at this particular site...it is about a 1/2 inch tall and 4 1/2 inches long...the next pic is of some type of wrench, or shifter? It measures just a touch over 7" and has a screw type adjustment, and a short shaft for attachment?? The last two pics are of a conical piece that has been flatened...there appears to maybe be a small nail hole at the top, and a joint running down the side...the bottom measures almost 2" across and the top measures about an inch and a half....could this have been the top of a flagpole? All help appreciated...

Sword Scabbord Tip - or - "drag"...

They are usually brass...

The last piece is not brass..and appears that what is left of the smaller end had a rolled edge...
