I hope that I'm not being a pain. Going through the stuff that I found this past weekend. Coins between 1900 and 1920 in the area.
Object in the first three photos is about 6 inches long and metal. Can't see it being a comb ;)
Second image is a Dill standard 7 tire stem. Just curious as to the date and any information.
Last piece is small, Merc for comparison. Says patented July 16, 1907.

It is so fascinating to learn about the past of my area.
Grateful for any help, as always.
Steve

Wild ass guess but I wonder if the first item might be a Curry Comb.

The second item I can make out DILL S T D or O VALVE STEM 7 on it. Don't know the size of it, but it would be a large tire to utilize a valve stem that big. Couldn't tell you a date on it.

Last item, beats me.

First item could be a boot scraper but I think it might be an old tractor pedal. I think everything could be farm machinery related.

I have something just like your valve stem 7, only mine has most of the chrome still in place. I'd have to go find it, that was 20 years ago, but I kept it. It was discovered while digging for other reasons. Near an 18xx old log home betweeen very old apple trees. They were old back in the 1960's and still bear fruit. Gotta be to adjust the position of something.

I stumbled across mine accidentally today in that out building to feed the cats before the big snows get here. It was right on the top of bin full of junk. I never looked at it much back in the day, but that was decades before I learnt everything is treasure !!!

Sure enough it is hollow. I had to clean it out with a wire to determine this.

It is just shy of 3" OAL and seems to be brass coated with Ni.

Mine says TR DILL S 74 valve

Came from these guys https://www.dillvalves.com/whydill/history-of-dill/ back in the model T days.

No one has NOS for these parts, so a restorer might pay for them now.

soaking in vinegar now.
