What can I say. Cleaning out those two boxes has ben fun. My grandad sure liked his trinkets. I talked to my mother and she said that she had his pocket watch. I said I had it. She has the other one! Apparently he had two. The other one is a railroad watch. Real BIG! I can't wait to see it. This one is missing the crystal but otherwise is in excellent working order. The two chains are gold as well. There's more to come too. I found a real surprise at the bottom of the smaller box and will post a pic later. Where it says OC 7235, I think it's Ocean City, Maryland July 2 1935. It was sort of scratched inside on the rim. There are more numbers and dates engraved inside as well, but my camera is only an old 1.3 megapixel.
