More than a tip?

I also found this broke point in the creek. At first glance it looked like a tip to me but after looking closer the tang shows sign of flaking. I hope the pictures can convey what I am seeing At the break, it is as thick as a dime laid on a nickel. It is also very translucent. It was found in SW Georgia.[

I see where it’s worked around, could be a small triangle, or maybe broke at a notch and had a stem
