1928S
1938S
1924P
1944S
1944P

Excellent finds....You have one of those good places to ....those old parks and ball fields give up some nice finds....You just have to find the right areas!!!!!!WTG

Wow gabbit, you are cleaning house! Looks like you are the one and only for that site. Those are some great numbers. 87 Wheat pennies?! 31 silver dimes!! Sounds like the stories I hear from guys around here that started detecting in the 70s.

Great hunt and congrats on the 7 silvers! HH, Mike

Wow!, that park has been good to you, WTG!!!
I think (3) silvers in one day is tops for me, (7) is just plain smoke'n...
Good luck, & Happy hunting~

Acutally I think I am the one and only using an ex2 at the site. The ground is cleaned out from 1-6 inches -- most of the finds are 7-12 inches deep -- respond a lot like a rusty nail at that depth -- next time I go there I will have to take my camera with me to show the size of the holes I am digging to get these.

When you told me about your coins on the phone I did not realize what a nice catch you had.

Can't hardly wait to meet you at the other site this morning. Looks like you're the man.

And just because I'm a Newbie it does not give you the right to make me do all the digging.

Gabbit,

This is more of a curiosity question if any but I rarely see a detectorist swinging an EX II and an ACE 250. Do you find that there are real comparable differences to necessitate an $1100 detector versus a $200 one? As an ACE 250 owner with aspirations to make the jump to an EX II or DFX in the near future, I figured I would pick your brain a little about your experiences with each detector.

Thanks for your thoughts.

Looking foward to it -- looks like it is going to be a bit cold and windy again today bundle up!! -- lots of trash targets, but a ton less than the stock yard. Only 2 more weeks of digging my targets, then you can start diging your own -- :D :D
