More silver from the academy w/pics

Went back to the old Lincoln Academy this morning. Started around that old cistern thing again and found a 42 quarter. I did some research on the old school and found some pics of the students in a rock lined swimming hole. Well I found it and the rock thing is just about 20' up the gully. The creekbed that runs through the middle of the swimming hole is dry. I wander if this was at one time a spring to fill the swimming area? The swimming area is very overgrown so I'm going to hit it hard this winter when the under growth is gone.

Congrats on the silver! The swimming hole area sounds great.A hunt to look forward to this winter is good planning.It should produce well if it hasn't been hit already.
