The FG on the ring is the makers mark of "Frederick Goldman", a well known jewelry brand. So it's real 14k gold.

You are probably correct. I had that backwards, GF is for gold filled, not FG. Working from memory, I don't do much jewelry.

I would get it tested... this is what I found online..

What does 14K FG mean ? Gold Fill ?​

Not sure if that is the same as what yours says as I can't see that last letter.
But beautiful Ring nonetheless !!

the FG is the makers mark of "Frederick Goldman" a very common and well known jewelry brand. The ring is indeed 14k as stamped
