More Rings!!

Okay, I'm cheating a little. Two rings are from yesterday, but I didn't get a chance to take pics. The rest of the stuff is from today.

1 & 2 -- found yesterday in grass at local park. 1 is silver and 2 is gold plated with two clear stones.

3 -- 10k. 4 -- no marking but good weight with one large clear stone and six small ones. Really a nice looking ring weighing 8.5g.

5 -- part of a pendant I think with large clear stone.

6 -- chain not sterling - somewhat discolored

That makes eight rings in nine days. My friends are starting to call me the Ringmaster. All shown came from three local parks.

I know!! I'm amazed at the ring count -- makes me want to get out there every day. Each night I go into my favorite watering hole and the regulars say, "Okay, let's see what rings you found today." Can't wait for tonight.

I'm finding all this with an old 1980's Garrett Groundhog. The only discrim is to switch between VLF and TR modes, so I'm exposing all the pulltabs (and rings). Most of the rings have obviously been lost recently, so my guess is that with the bad economy, people are eating less, losing weight and their rings are falling off. Anyway, that's my theory.

Nice diamond ring, congrats on that and the others, woohoo!
I also use a 1980 Garrett, an American TR machine I bought new back then, found 100's of gold and silver rings with that ole trusty machine. Keep the goodies coming Ringmaster!
