More like a zinc day... Still some roman stuff

Todays hunt were two fields with recently harvested corn. Soil dry to the bone, rock hard plus corn stubble. I had better conditions before.

Nontheless i maneuvered the coil over some targets.

A bunch of Zinc coins, brooch, buttons, one silver Groschen 1800ish, bits

Roman stuff with scrappies, hobnail, base of a rein guide, glass goblet rim, glass bracelet frag (came up with a nail).

If your getting the Hob-Nail I know your doing it right. It is strange to have to break them out of hard lumps this time of year, but you did well for the conditions. Keep posting them...

Looks like black/dark blue glass to me. It's quite big with 40mm diameter.

Thanks, i try to do my best and the Deus helps a lot. We had a night of rain, hopefully potatoe harvest starts now. That will give us a lot more options.

Don't look at as trash. Look at it as you're cleaning up the enviroment while helping get battery money from the scrap. Glad you came up with another silver. I'll bet that broach helped some guy get lucky, I like it. Good hunt Lu. I'd send rain if I could. Good luck.
