🏆 HONORABLE MENTION More Lake Superior Finds & Wedding Ring Return

My son and I vacated the house today (he starts school tomorrow) because the hard wood flooring installer was grinding the old ceramic tile grout away and making a pile of noise and dust.

We went down the Lake Superior at the popular beach where everyone hits to freeze their arse off every summer. We found a few dollars worth of change and a tungsten wedding ring that actually fit me pretty well. The wife posted the ring on our local Buy & Sell website and the owner's wife correctly identified the ring.

They had got married at that beach in July and had lost the ring at the same beach 4 days later....it sat in the sand from July 27th until today. They had even got a metal detector and went looking for it with no luck. They bought me a $10 Tim Horton's card for finding the ring....so all is good in the world. Now I have to find a fellow Lodge members Masonic Ring that was lost it in the blueberry patch near my hometown...should be interesting.


Not a bad haul.

Great story. I have actually been to WAWA a few times over the years. In the 1960's my dad would take us there & I remember one time he bought airplane rides in a float plane. Great country and great wild blueberry picking there.
