more glass from mill dump

Found another piece of milk glass from steel mill dump. The top rim is not threaded maybe had a glass lid that just sat on top. on the bottom it reads "directions enclosed -read circular".
Any ideas what is was used for?

cold cream container usually (cosmetics other wise). Had a glass lid that went on it also.

Thanks for replies, cold cream is likely I found ponds cold cream jars there. Never heard of MUM, I'll have to look that one up.
