Got up to the 70's today....but still alot of frost in the ground!
The usual silver triangles & other pieces. Unfortunately, the large triangle in the center got ate by the plow & lost the upper 1/3. They are rarely that big!
The serrated one was folded in half & broke in two even before I could try to straighten it.
I hadn't found one of the tiny brass crosses for many years. They have only come from the area of one lodge & my buddy had never found one & he got his first today. This makes my fourth one!
At the top center is a thin, flattened & pierced piece of lead...too small & light to be a fishing sinker.
Bottom center is a piece of catlinite pipe bowl ( Never find a whole one!) & above it is two white beads I eye-balled.
Didn't put in the musket balls & "tinklers" as you have seen plenty of them! :D
Have to work tomorrow and Sunday & it's supposed to rain Saturday :'( No hunting!
HH! Dale

One sad thing is so many people simply throw relics like these away because they think they're junk.

It's great to see this thread and know some are informed.

Nice finds!
