Quick 1 hour trip out to woods before the rain drove me out... Managed to pull a few items out (to include a nice copper-culture artifact). IMG_20170531_124946.jpg

You should post these on the Fur Trade forum on this site. Some really Knowledgeable guys on the fur trade. I'm sure they would like to see these.

Another great little hunt(time wise) Nice copper culture piece, and what about the great silver piece sitting there as well? CONGRATS!
What's the item on the bottom of the photo?

Thanks! Yep - the silver was a nice piece to find amidst the targets! The item at the bottom is 'flint steel' and has one side knocked off with the other bent straight out....unless those fur traders were setting up a putt-putt course :)

Great spear head. That piece is awesome!

loving the barbed spear/harpoon head or whatever it is

That archaic copper knife is an excellent find. Would have been hafted on a long-gone piece of wood thousands of years ago. I know you already knew that. The old pocket-knife was probably bone handle, the muskrat spear & the silver brooch...very nice site! Patiience & pinpointing = Mo' copper culture for you? Congrats :}'

Interesting and top notch finds yet again from your site, congrats
