I went back to the campground I've been hitting these past couple of months, and pulled out another handful of clad - no silver coins this time, several bullet shells, a really nice sterling ring that I'd love some help identifying, and several items I have no idea about.

Here is the ring I found - stamped "STERLING" inside, with a small logo or symbol that I hope someone here can identify. Since I've found other scouting related items at this campground in the past, I was wondering if this ring might be associated with the "Order of the Arrow" in Boy Scouts. Each side of the ring has an arrow on it. When dug, the stone was missing but I noticed a small dark spot in the middle of the eagle that looked like something had been there. Luckily the stone is set in a sterling bezel, so when I scanned back over the hole I got a faint signal and was able to find the stone in the sterling setting with my sunray probe. A little dab of superglue, and it is back where it belongs.

And here are the other items I can't identify... any guesses?

I think that russia marked item might be an illuminator for a night vision scope. let me know if you want to get rid of it.

The first pic below the ring looks like a metal plate thats used in the end of a bed frame rail. It hooks into the head board or foot board. I think some of it is broken off and it also appears to be bent.

Hey Time, Very nice ring ! The ring is Navajo- 1950's - 1970 or thereabouts and likely made in New,

-Mexico . I found one with that same hallmark and was told it is a makers mark from some silversmiths,

in Albuquerque who were in business until the 1970's. Since the ring is that nice - I would take it to

a competent jeweler , and have them solder the bezel down and reset the stone . Very nice indeed !

Argentium.

Can't help with the what's it's but the ring is Great.....Beautiful Dig
